Paranormal Skills

Use this chapter to explore and train your inherent higher abilities and potential which are commonly considered “paranormal skills”.

Your Sixth Sense

When the phone rings, do you know who is calling before you pick it up? Look closely.

Do you know you are getting visitors to your house door before you hear them? Check.

Do you sometimes smell a pleasant fragrance with no physical evidence of that scent being around? Pay attention.

Can you sense when someone is staring at you from behind? Check.

When you enter a room in which two people recently had a fight, can you feel that “in the air”?

Can you sense beforehand whether a particular event will go well or not?

When you touch someone, do you get spontaneous impressions of their overall state? Feel closely.

Is it easy for you to “guess” the path, success or failure of a particular place or person? Have a look.

While falling asleep have you ever heard musical sounds that were not physically present? Listen closely.

Your “sixth sense” which operates beyond the limited confines of the normal five senses we place so much emphasis on, is alive and well. There is more to perceive than what sight, sound, touch, taste and smell deliver.

Paranormal Events are Non-Local and Non-Personal

One of the great misunderstandings of metaphysical literature is to think that supernatural, miraculous and paranormal events are local or created by a person. Thus, you have millions of claims of people being able to practice psychokinesis, telekinesis, telepathy, levitation and whatnot. Skeptics of such claims have offered millions of dollars for such abilities to be repeated under laboratory conditions. If these abilities were local and personal, rather than created by the Field, we would have plenty of evidence of them on camera and in scientific documentation. But we don’t. That is because they are not created by you in the sense of the Ego-Self, they are created by

…an invisible force-field…

…by discarnate entities…

…by your higher-self…

…or by Divine Will.

The causes and sources of paranormal events can be manifold, but they only peripherally involve the personal ego-self. The body/mind is not the creative source, but merely a tuning antenna which can, through its own will and attention, tune into various realities and tune out of others. That’s why the most common paranormal skill the Ego-Self can create are remote-viewing and telepathy.

When it appears as if the Ego-Self has these paranormal powers, you will notice that the powers are temporary. And again, they are temporary because they do not come “from” the person as a local entity. That’s what is meant when I say “non-local”. People who are especially attuned to other invisible realms can temporarily “tune in” and display paranormal skills. But if the Field or the Source decides to retrieve that ability, the self-proclaimed “miracle worker” will no longer have them.

I understand that this contradicts several thousands of lectures, books and programs on the subject, but there you go. You are not autonomous from the overall Field. That’s why, when it appears as if you work miracles, give thanks to The Source that provided the experience through you.
